Q. What do I have to do to become a Security Officer?
A. In order to become a Security Officer in the Commonwealth of Virginia you must complete the Security Officer Core Subjects Entry Level (01E) Course. Then you must submit a Fingerprint and Initial Application to the Dept. of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) along with a fee. After you are screened via. fingerprint background check and you application is reviewed, you will receive your credentials in the mail.

Q. What happens if I can't make it to class.
A. Because we do not offer refunds on classes, we issue you a credit of the amount paid. You may re-register and be placed on standby for the next available class.
